Dev Team has created a carrier unlock for the iPhone 4

By Tim Quax on 14 july 2010

Planetbeing is at it again. The member of the iPhone Dev Team can be seen on a YouTube video explaining the unlock he made for the iPhone 4.

The developer shows on the video that he's connected with the Canadian telecomprovider Rogers. Planetbeing's iPhone 4 is bought in the USA, so normally it would only work on the network of provider AT&T.

Unfortunately the method of carrier unlocking your device isn't ready to be published just yet. A lot of improvements are to be made still. Planetbeing is well known for creating iDroid, the Android port for the iPhone.
